A FREE exhibition for people with sight or hearing loss

Sight Loss Shropshire and Community Resource are working in partnership to bring this popular event back to the community.

See & Hear Shropshire 2024 will focus on providing support and resources for individuals experiencing hearing and/or sight loss challenges.

See a range of exhibitors representing services and products relating to living with, and managing, sensory impairment, as well as presentations and workshops throughout the day.

– Shropshire NHS issued Hearing Aid care and guidance by Community Resource audiology-trained volunteers

Workshops

Taking place during our See & Hear Exhibition these free workshops are designed to assist people with sight or hearing loss adapt and utilise technology to assist.

The workshop sessions are free but spaces are limited to 25 so we strongly recommend you book your slot in advance to secure your place.

Workshop 1 – Digital Tech – Staying connected with sight loss & staying safe online AM Session

Wednesday 12th June, 10.45am – 11.45am

Who should attend/who would benefit from attending?

People living with sight loss, their friends, family members and anyone with an interest in accessible technology for sight loss.


Workshop 2 – Navigating Life with Hearing Loss AM Session

Wednesday 12th June,  12 – 1pm

Who should attend/who would benefit from attending?

People who are hearing impaired, support workers, family/ friends, residential staff, care agency staff.

Shuttle Bus Timetable

The free shuttle bus from Shrewsbury Train Station to the event at Shrewsbury Town Football Club will run throughout the day.
