Working in partnership with Shrewsbury Sports Village you can start on your fitness journey by attending the Shrewsbury Cycling Sight Loss Opportunity Group  cycling sessions.

The Shrewsbury Cycling Sight Loss Opportunity Group meets at Sundorne Sports Village, Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 4RQ on the third Wednesday of the month from 10.30am to 12.30pm between March and September.

This group is facilitated by the Sight & Hearing Loss Support Team within Community Resource.

Due to the costs, a minimum of 4 people are needed to run the session.  Should you wish to take part, please book yourself on by ringing 01743 342168/342163/360641 or emailing or   Places need to be booked by 3pm on the third Monday of each month before the event on the Wednesday.

The cost is £3 per session.

A cycle coach is on hand and the group has access to a number of adapted bikes as well as tandems, tricycles and two wheel bicycles.

The group welcomes anyone with a visual impairment.

If you have your own cycle helmet it would be helpful if you could bring it along to each session. That way we know that you are ready to go!
