How you can help us

Reviewed October 2023

Sight Loss Shropshire has been helping people with visual impairments for over 100 years.  Our support helps people to retain their independence, regain their confidence and offers the opportunity to take part in a variety of social activities.

In 2019, there were just under 18,500 people, of all ages, living with sight loss in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.  This figure is forecast to rise to nearly 24,000 by 2030.

There are many ways that you can support our work.  For example:

  • Making a donation, or remembering Sight Loss Shropshire in your will
  • Giving your time as a volunteer
  • Organising a fund-raising event on behalf of Sight Loss Shropshire

Your support will help us to make a real difference to the people living with sight loss in your community.
