Dear Friends and Supporters,

The festive season is up on us and we find ourselves reflecting on the warmth and joy that permeate this special time of year. It is with gratitude that we, the Trustees of Sight Loss Shropshire, extend our heartfelt wishes to you.

In a world that often moves too quickly, it’s during these moments that we come together to appreciate the beauty of human connection and are reminded of the profound impact we can have on each other’s lives.

Sight Loss Shropshire is here to support those facing the challenges of sight loss. As Trustees, we have witnessed the incredible resilience of individuals within our community, and this continues to inspire us to drive our mission forward.

We have recorded a Virtual Christmas Card for you, which details a big year of change for our organisation, with the retirement of Robin, our Secretary and Clare, our Administrator, and the creation of a new team. We have welcomed Swan, Mel and Vicki, and with their support are excited about the future and expanding our services to support visually impaired individuals across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

You can listen to the festive message below:

With sincere thanks to all of our hardworking Committee members, Trustees and staff for dedication over this past year, and on behalf of all the Trustees at Sight Loss Shropshire, we extend our warmest wishes for a joyous and peaceful festive season.

May the coming year be filled with hope, resilience, and the continued strength of our incredible community.
